What is OZONE?
Ozone is triatomic oxygen, a fragrant gas. Ozone occurs naturally in the atmosphere when exposed to ultraviolet light or during high-voltage electrical discharges, such as lightning. After the thunderstorm, a specific smell of ozone is felt, which is why it got its name (the first term “ozone” was used by the German chemist Christian Friedrich Schönbein according to the Greek word “ozein” – scent).
Ozone is a strong oxidizer that kills bacteria, mold, fungi, viruses, breaks down toxic and chemical substances that are dangerous to health and removes all unpleasant odors.
